Playing

I had a few minutes last night to just play. I thought of Carolyn Dube's recent challenge to use something you would throw away. I had rubons which were so old I should have thrown them away long ago. For some reason I held on to them even though every time I tried to use them I got nothing. I had a journal background which I had started but then left not knowing how to finish it. This challenge was just the spark to get me going. Those old rubons matched perfectly. I used some medium to adhere them. I also cut out an old magazine ad which was also destined for the recycle bin.

So here is my project

Thank you Carolyn for your inspiration!

Thank you for visiting! I hope you get some time to play!

I like the mood of your work here. The delicacy of it is delightful. The colors are clear and pretty. Lovely!

Lol! You held on to those rub-ons...you just knew they were gonna be good for something...and this was perfect!
