Pretty Morning

 We finally had a sunny morning and everything was covered in ice crystals. I ran around town taking a few photos. It was like someone sprinkled glitter on the trees.

I did It!!

I signed up for the She Art Workshop!! I am so excited to try this. Today or tomorrow I am making a trip to Michael's for art supplies - paints, brushes and Mod Podge! That will be fun. I will share my progress as I go so stay tuned!

Need HELP!!!

I so need help with bodies and hair!!!!!  This is what I created today. I am not happy with the body or hair!! Help!!!

Rob's new Wheels

Today Dh made good on his promise. Because Rob has been on the Dean's List at college for the past two years, he got to trade his old car in for a newer used car. He has been looking around since December. Well today Rob and Mike went looking. Sure enough, I got a call that they bought one! It is a Buick LaCross and Rob loves it! And, yes, I already scrapped it!

Being Creative Every day!

Tracy has been sharing her art journal and encouraging us to Do Something Creative Everyday with her. Well, I finally put the scrapping aside and attempted my own She Art. It was so much fun to do. So today I tried again. For the most part, I like the result but am already thinking of what I would change:) For example - why did I stamp the butterfly in black??? So not a good choice:) I have got to let go of the Math and Science side of me! I need to forget symmetry, be freer, and not be afraid! Maybe if I keep at it those things will get easier.

Tuesday Trigger -Moxie Fab World

Just love the colors and design of  this couch/room. Here is my take using that photo for inspiration. I might have to see if the lighting is better later - is a bit dark and cloudy this morning. My kid's smiles just make me smile:)
