Love looking outside and seeing this

I love looking outside to see deer wandering through the yard eating shrubs and leaves. The dog isn't too happy about it, but I enjoy watching them!

Amusing.....

I could not figure out what was going on with my birdfeeder. Every day it was knocked over. Well, this afternoon my husband spotted this! Now we understand! Guess the chipmunks have been forced out by the squirrels. Poor birds. Don't think they ever get any food. He was hanging on with his front feet and dangling.

I love her sense of humor

My daughter has such a great sense of humor! At the aquarium we visited the penguin exhibit. In addition to some slides and stuff for kids, they had penguin costumes! Some were even adult sizes. Jen had to put one on!

Grateful for dandelions??

Who would have thought that we would be grateful for dandelions! But we are! It is Nov. 21, and temps were 60! We spent a few hours on the golf course where we saw a few dandelions mixed with leaves.

Rain showers

We cannot complain about the weather this November at all! So far there has been NO snow - a first for our area. The dog and I enjoyed a brisk walk yesterday in spite of the sprinkles coming down. I enjoyed the reflection in this puddle.

I am so lucky

I am so lucky that I have the time and the resources to be able to scrap. I may not be that good at it but I am trying to capture memories for my children. I hope they will look back at them and remember the times we had.

Such a blessing

I am blessed to live in a country where I can see, hear and read daily news that is not filtered or altered. Love my evening paper!

Giving thanks

I am thankful for a wonderful street where I can walk the dog every day!

I am thankful that the girls wanted to do a photo shoot in the park on Saturday. The evening was so warm and pleasant. Watch out America's Next top Model!!

I cannot tell you how much I treasure time with my kids especially since one of them is now in Arizona. So I jumped on the chance to meet up with Jen in Chicago where she had to be to attend a conference. Her best friend, Kristen, went with me. All of us had fun at the aquarium --

Who knew what a snuggle dog we would end up! Bandit just loves to be near people and will grab an end of the couch to join in on a nap.

Kathy M at Scraplove had a great idea of taking the Thankful threads such as are on FB but instead taking a photo daily.

I am so busy today! I have to finish design team projects for a crop this weekend and get ready to take the train tomorrow to Chicago. My daughter is going to be there for a conference and her best friend and I are going to visit her. In my rushing around, I stopped to enjoy the beautiful sunny day we are having. The light coming in the front hallway creates wonderful designs on the rug. I am so thankful for sun and not snow which is much more normal for November in Michigan!
