I Hate to Waste Paint

I made a couple of paint pouring pictures and had a bit of paint left in the cup. I hated to throw it away. Remembering that I needed an ornament for an exchange with the local art group, I grabbed a small canvas and poured onto that. Some glittery snowflakes and ribbon completed the ornament!

I am happy with the result. I hope who ever gets it likes it too!

For those who visited last week and saw my projects for the art sale, I am pleased to report that I had my second best day ever! I sold about half of my cards, 4 mixed media canvases and a couple of other things. It truly makes me happy to see people buying my art. Thank you for all of your encouragement and support!!!!

Thank you for visiting! Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend!

Holiday Art Market

Tomorrow is my local art group's Holiday Art Market. I have spent the week finishing up last minute projects, starting new projects and then cleaning up the mess!

Here is most of what I am taking:
Lots of cards -

Mixed media canvases-

New projects! I did paint pouring and created 2 paintings

I hate to waste anything so I used the leftover paint to create necklaces with glass slides

And covered a box lid.

Now the goal is to come home with a lot less of this!!

Thank you for your visit! I appreciate your kind words and support!

Adding this to PaintPartyFriday. Please stop there and check out the amazing artists!!!

Believe You Can Fly

A butterfly card using a beautiful die from Pink and Main

Adding this to SimonSays Monday Challenge - take flight. The ribbon is not as crooked as it looks here:)

Thank you for visiting and for your kind words!

Wedding card

A friend of mine recently married. Instead of buying a card, I painted this for them. I used her wedding colors of pink and gold as my inspiration. She loved it.

Since I was visiting my granddaughter, I did not gt much other artwork done, except for these Halloween canvases with my granddaughter's help:) They will be put together with ribbon for a halloween decor. At 18 months she is beginning to understand what paint is and after I did the ghost foot she told me "more":)

Adding this to PaintpartyFriday

Adding the card to SimonsSays Wednesday Challenge - anything goes.

Thank you for visiting! I appreciate your kind words which put a smile on my face!
