Busy, Busy

I have an art show/sale with the local art group next week. I bought a card rack with slots for 64 cards so I need to get to work!!

I figured now would be a good time to start some cards for the holidays. These are just in the beginning stages. So stay tuned because they should be done next week!

Despite being a busy week, I was able to complete a bit of painting for cards. Some of these are matted and finished. One needs to have that done.

At the cottage

We headed north to the cottage this weekend. In between boating and fishing, I managed to start paintings for cards. I sold quite a few at the show and need to stock up.

I started new flowers and even branched out with a cactus:) Stay tuned to see the finished cards!

Watercolor

The Rogue River Artists Association is having their summer show/sale tomorrow. I have been busy getting the rest of my projects finished and ready. Set up is this afternoon.

In addition to my mixed media canvases, I have been preparing watercolor cards. I think this is where my future is headed. We will see.

And here are some of the cards. I am really enjoying playing around.

Here is one of my most recent canvases. Frosty. I used song lyrics for his body and pattern paper for the trees.
