Not much time

Not much time for creating these days unless you count wedding programs, wedding favors, flower arrangements, etc. The bride is flying home today! And I am sure the next week will fly by.

I made this canvas which I thought would be perfect to display for the occasion!

T - 9 DAYS and COUNTING

The wedding is in 9 days! holy cow -- where has the time gone! I am in the final throws of making favors, place cards, etc.

Have not scrapped at all but I did make two thank you cards! Both were for prizes I won. The first one is a collaged piece using burlap ribbon and embellies. The second one uses a building stamp as a flower petal.
Used my Derwent  Inktense on this.

Mixing it up today by using stamps with watercolors! I won these cool stamps from Darkroom Door and made this thank you card for them.

Wedding Frenzy

Not quite a frenzy but getting there!

So far I have the programs done

And the tags for the favors

The table number holders

And this afternoon I am cutting corks for the name card holders!

t- 24 days and counting!!!!!!!

Frightful and delightful

I love winning prizes and I love using the prize to make a thank you card for the person I won the card from.

Last week I won a giveaway from Red Lead. It consisted of these wonderful Halloween stencils as well as some charms and wood tokens. I was wracking my brain to think of a way to make a thank you and found this wonderful thank you quote!

I used a striped card which I splattered with purple paint. Also added purple circles both to the card and the tag. Stencil the large raven and some others around the edges.

I am loving the looks of this!

Thank you Red Lead!

Monday Magazine Inspiration

Here is this week's PCC Monday inspiration

And here is my card. Using some of that washi stash

Quick and simple!

Color Run

I have wanted to complete one of this since I heard about it. As luck would have it, Beth ( my son's fiance) had signed up with her sister to do one. Her sister decided she did not want to go so I signed up instead. Beth is new to running and had not done any race before. I knew I could not run but would job/walk/run as well as I could. Beth was just giddy the entire morning. We got close to the front of the start and she left me about a block into the race. She ran her best time and when I finished she was by the stage where they were all throwing packets of powder. She was color from head to toe!

I used the Pagemaps sketch to document this

I used watercolors which is why the paper is a bit wrinkled.
