Art Group Demo

Tuesday evening I gave a demo to our art group of how to make string flowers. This technique is simple but messy and fun. Everyone seemed to enjoy it.

Here are a couple of the canvases I had made to show them.

The results are always different and I found ways to mix colors. If you want more info there are many videos and ideas on google and pinterest.

This one was made with two new stencils from Stamplorations. I just love the leaves!

I used distress oxides, watercolors  and also have some clear gesso leaves in the background.

Paint Play

A friend came over on Wednesday and filled the kitchen table with Paint Pouring Projects! We still have a lot to learn about this fun method but I managed to make a couple of  pieces with wonderful affects.

I also spent some time this week creating thank you cards. The first is a mixed media card using a stencil, stickers, etc.

This one is watercolors.
