If you are like me you have had your fill of turkey and shopping! Luckily, I did my shopping on line so no crowds or waiting.

I had seen this on pinterest and wanted to try my version. I call her mystery girl. I think I want to go back and add some black lines and doodles. Maybe even some more layers of color. 

Still learning and experimenting.

I am published!

So I had to run out today and pick up the winter issue of Creative Scrapbooker magazine BECAUSE I HAVE A LAYOUT on PAGE 110! This is not my first time being published but it is always exciting to see it in print!

It is the one that is titled SNOW. Yes, I was given permission by my daughter to share even though there is a ban on putting my granddaughter's face out there:)

This is a great magazine filled with card and scrapbooking inspiration!

Paint Party friday

I am back once again from Phoenix and have been catching up on various projects.

I brought a couple home with me that Lauren and I had started. We went to the Phoenix zoo where she rode the camel. She has been wanting to and while we thought she was too young, 2 1/2, we found out she wasn't. She was a bit scared but jumped right on! At the booth selling tickets, they had a handprint camel which we knew we had to do for our wall of hand/foot print animals!

I had also brought her a paint it yourself nutcracker. She loves "Nutcracks" as she calls them and so we worked on painting this little guy. We did not finish so I brought him back with me to add the final details. .

I did have an art sale last week with the local art Group's holiday market. I sold some cards, 1 canvas and 1 ornament. So, not too bad.
