A fun one

Amy Gaskins at scrap-friendzy came up with a wonderful sketch which I thought was perfect for this photo!

While on vacation we decided to head out to the store for food and drinks. Jen wanted her dad and brother to Swing her like we used to when she was little.

Let' Scrap Blog Hop

I am so excited that you hopped by for the Let's Scrap Blog Hop! You are at stop #4!

National Scrapbooking Day was last weekend, right? Well not at Let's Scrap. We are celebrating our scrapbooking ALL MONTH LONG. We started with some great games and challenges during NSD weekend, and now we are back with the Let's Scrap Design Team Blog Hop. Below you will find a list of those DT's who are joining us in the blog hop. Each stop on the hop will offer you a different challenge. Become a follower of each Design Team Member's blog and as you complete each challenge, upload your finished project to http://www.letsscrap.ning.com. Here it is:

It dawned on me recently that I rarely scrap about my husband and me. A challenge to complete a layout about a wedding provided the opportunity to look back on our wedding which was thirty five years ago in June! Not only did I have an invitation but I have yards of fabric that the bridesmaids’ gowns were made of. The fabric quickly became flowers and I used a technique of cutting flowers from a piece of pattern paper to frame the photo and invitation.
