Scrapping and painting

It has been a busy week. I have been subbing at school for lunch room duties, recess and even a little class room time. The school is 1/2 mile away so I always walk there and back getting some steps in.

I have been scrapping! Trying to get more done before I head out for the birth of my grandson. My granddaughter turned 2 on April 1, so no shortage of photos!

She has been taking art classes for about 9 months and she LOVES them. Last week they colored these cat masks and when we facetimed all she would say was MEOW. Over and over. It was too funny.

I created a layout using many of the items they work with including paint, tissue paper, pipe cleaners, stencils, etc.

I also completed two more alphabet cards!

Slowly getting closer to the end!

Friday - works in progress

I have spent time this week playing with watercolor cards. My next show/sale isn't until August which seems far away but with a new grandson coming May 6 my time will be limited. That is because he lives across the country so I will be making trips!

These are all in progress. I have trouble waiting for watercolors to dry before going on. I managed to get around this by having several pieces going at once. Trying to get a mix of designs.

Thank you for stopping today! I appreciate your kind words. Also appreciate any critiques!!

Happy Easter!

You Shine

I received a collection of Photo Play's Belle Fleur paper and accompanying stamps, dies, die cuts, etc.

This  12 x 12 collection package is just darling! In addition to 2 pieces of each paper there are stickers. Such pretty florals, polka dots and even journal cards.

I needed to make a thank you card so used the dress die with pattern paper. I decided to add an overlay of vellum. Here is the finished card.

I just love how it turned out. I added a gold thread as a bow and tied one around the card.

The supplies are used are available at Scrapbook.com

Thank You

Today I am sharing a simple card I made. I painted the background scene and used Altenew Stamps for the vase and flowers.

Adding this to Simons Says Wednesday Challenge - no designer paper.

I am back

I was off visiting my granddaughter for her second birthday! Such a fun time. What better way to celebrate than to give her tap shoes! She had fallen in love with them during a movement class where they got to try them. Now she has her own.

When I am with Lauren I do not get much of anything creative done. By the time she goes to sleep, I am ready for sleep!

But, now that I am home I was able to play again. I had seen something like this on Pinterest and wanted to try. Mine has some issues but I am sharing anyway. I have so much to learn with watercolors and again, mostly it is about patience!
