Up Today at Frosted Designs

Hey friends -- I am up today at Frosted Designs! I am sharing a VIDEO to show you how I added texture to my layout without bulk. I used the wonderful Tim Holtz distress glitter which is available here as part of the Love is in the Air kit.

One Little Word

So everyone.... is choosing their one little word for the year. Last year I decided on confidence. Not sure if I truly embraced it, but I did try. This year my word is RESOLVE. Using it to mean firm determination, I want to try to leave doubt behind and create with determination. I wanted a road map to show where I am heading. The streets have names such as courage, steadfastness and intention. And all roads lead to resolve!!

I am up at Frosted Designs!

I am up at Frosted Designs with a Shadow Box Frame I made using this month's kit!

Beth and Rob looked so cute on Christmas eve and I loved that they each had red on! This kit has such wonderful papers and embellies. I made a mini scrap layout inside the frame and added embllies to the outside. I even used the Distress Glitter to add shine!

Queen for a Day

Apparently some of my friends have too much time on their hands!

In fact Sandee has  declared 2014 a Royal year and is having a crown party! So don't be jealous but here is my crown. It has jewels to die for! And even some feathers. Alas, there is no glitter!

Sketch Challenge at Frosted Designs

It seems like it has been so long since I scrapped! With the kids here and the holidays, paper crafting just got pushed to the side. But, now I am ready to jump back in. And you know what makes it even easier - a wonderful sketch and a kit filled with the perfect products! Today's Friday challenge at Frosted Designs is a Sketch and Ink, Paint or Mist Challenge. During the Christmas break my daughter and I went wedding dress shopping. We had such a memorable time. These papers from Teresa Collins were just perfect! I added brown ink!

So happy to show you the January Kit from Frosted Designs!

The Frosted Designs Kits are getting a makeover! 

After much thought and a few months of delivering kits, we have decided to make a change and offer a brand new customizable kit just for you! We are excited about this change because we are bringing you the best of our scrapbooking kit and our mixed media paper kit all in one! Our new kits are designed to meet the needs of scrapbookers as well as those who like to create with mixed media items! The best part of this kit you ask?! The customer gets to customize what they receive without paying extra!! Seriously! 

Let me explain! All of the items in the larger photo below are the main part of the kit. Everyone who orders a kit will get those items. There are two other photos, one that is labeled "CLEAN FUN" and the other is "MESSY FUN!" You get to select which kind of fun you want added to your kit at no extra cost! The "Clean Fun" option is geared more towards people who like to scrapbook and play with paper and embellishments. The "Messy Fun" option is for the people who like to get messy and inky when they are creating! How fun is that?! Now, you finally have a kit that gives you options!  

Now that I have explained the new format of the kit, let me introduce the
