Welcome to the Fiskateers Spring Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Fiskateers Spring Blog Hop.  You should have come from

If you are hopping into the middle of our blog hop and you are a Fiskateer, you can start here  at the Fiskateer website http://www.fiskateers.com/

If  you are thinking a “Fiskawhat?”, you should know that Fiskateers  (http://www.fiskateers.com/) is an online community of craftiness (paper crafts, sewing, gardening, etc.) all based around our love and appreciation of Fiskars (think orange-handled scissors to start).  There is a blog, gallery, and message board led by four lovely Lead Fiskateers who along with the other Fiskateers are fabulous at getting creativity flowing via chats, challenges, on-line crops, and interviews with other crafty celebrities.  If you would like to join in the inspiration of Fiskateers, or would like to learn more, check out this link on the website    Join
To start at the beginning, go to  Kelly's for a complete list of blog hop stops.

We’ll be hopping all weekend , March 24th  and 25th  to welcome spring!   Some Fiskateers are offering prizes so check their directions carefully to participate.
The blog hop officially ends on Sunday March 25th at 11pm CST.
Last week my daughter successfully defended her Dissertation for her PhD. Of course, I had to scrap that moment. I surprised her by having a friend buy a bottle of  champagne to have once she returned to her apartment.

I used my favorite Notebook border punch as well as the Peacock Corner Punch.
Did you know that the Fiskars SureCut Scrapbooking Paper Trimmer has a lifetime warranty? I did not know that until I sent them a question about my guide wire fraying. In less than a week I had a new replacement part which was easy to install!
Now that is great service!!
I want to thank you for stopping by! I'd love to have you sign up as follower. I will be sending a small RAK  to a person chosen from those who comment AND are followers. I will choose that name first thing Monday morning.  Just answer this question ..............

What was your first Fiskars tool?
I have a pair of pinking scissors that are probably 25 years old! Have no idea where I got them but  they are still in my desk.

The next stop on the Hop is Debby #2852.

Thank you for stopping!!

  17. Congrats to your daughter!I'm sure you are both very proud. Lovely layout. My first fiska tool would be my small Fiskars scissors. The micro tips I used for my cross stitch projects. Now I'm doing mostly paper crafts so I have so many more tools. But always want more. Thanks for sharing

  18. Congrats to your daughter! That is huge! I love what you made.

My favorite Fiskars tool is my microtip scissors. I use them for everything! They are especially awesome for a lefty like me, since they don't have directionality.

  30. Congrats to your daughter!!!! I love the page. I am a follower and my first Fiskars tool was the paper trimmer which I still use. It is the gray one. (My second was the scissors that they sent with my number on them and my collection grew from there.)

  31. Thanks for sharing! You must be so proud of your daughter! I signed up to follow you! My first Fiskars tool was the paper trimmer with the little orange sliding blade. I still keep spare blades and prefer it for some projects when I want an accurate cut inside a project, rather than slicing through.

I also love your lemon background on your blog !

My first tool was either scissors or garden pruners!

No need to enter me -- I have been unfollowing and unsubscribing to most blogs lately - just not enough time and too much email congestion-

  39. I think my first tool was either the purple trimmer or a cutting mat that I used for sewing.

  40. CONGRATULATIONS!! To you and your daughter. You both must be very proud. Great LO and use of punches. One of the things I LOVE about Fiskars is how they back their products. I have no idea what my first Fiskars tool was, probably some shaping scissors. I had those before I even owned a trimmer. Donna #6036
