But, the day did not go as planned. I went to the mall to yet again search for a mother of the groom dress. I hit the regular stores and tried on several, but nothing fit. Then I stopped at a few specialty shops - again nothing was what i was looking for. So discouraging. So in the middle of this not so very good day, I remembered I had started this canvas and finishing it would make me feel good and bring a smile to my face!

I was inspired by WendyVecchi who did a similar canvas. The flowers just seemed so bright and cheerful. This quote was perfect!
By the time I finished the sun was shining. I had ordered a dress on line. And I took a brisk walk which reminded me that the sun can shine in the middle of a bleak day!
