Happy Friday

I have missed a few weeks. Being with the 1 year old and 3 year old grandchildren does not allow me much time to play with paints. Unless, of course, you count hand and foot print art.

I have started and thrown away 3 -4 flower watercolors I started. I get to a certain point then mess them up.

I did finish the pen work on this one.

I am pretty pleased with it.

I tired a different painting technique with the kids! This was made using squirt guns! I like how it looks like flowers. I need to try adding green leaves.

Adding this to the party over at PaintPartyFriday! Please stop over there and check out the wonderful art that is shared!

Have a wonderful and safe weekend. Thank you for your kind words! They mean more to me than you will even know.

  1. Beautiful flowers. Art with the minis sounds like fun! Hugs, Valerie

  2. Very cool!! Looks like the blooms on my tulip tree!!

  4. Squirt guns???? What a creative idea and the result makes me think of cotton candy. Your flowers are lovely. Be well Happy PPF

  5. Ohhh this flower is gorgeous. The color is rich. I really like the squirt gun method too.

  6. You're so blessed to be with your grandchildren, Jean! Your first pen art is gorgeous and I also love the squirt gun image the kids made! Can't wait to see it with green leaves! Take care and keep safe! Hugs, Darnell

  9. Your first painting seem to be a Magnolia flower. I photographed one today. Looking like this :)

It is fun playing with paint. The squirt gun seem to do the trick. Bet both the kids and you had fun. Of course you shall ad some leaves. :)
