I am heading out this week to spend time with my 6 month old granddaughter. That means I am trying to finish up and work ahead before I go. I have a show/sale with my art group the weekend after I get back. This is a work in progress card. Needs to be finished with a sentiment and maybe some bows or something.
I did decide that I did not like the paper I am using for these. It is not working as well with the watercolors as I thought it would. Oh well. Live and learn:)
Adding this to Paintpartyfriday.
Thank you for visiting on this rainy Saturday! I hope it is sunny where you are!

Lovely colours to brighten up a rainy day. Happy PPF!
ReplyDeleteHope your visit is wonderful. Your painting is so pretty. It reminds me of the one I did when my gdaughter was born. I did a canvas with 5 big round circles which I turned into balloons. Fun and simple. I have no idea what happened to that painting but it was fun painting it because I knew it would hang in her room (at least for a while).
ReplyDeleteI really like this piece. Nothing better than spending time with your granddaughter. Have fun.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful painting, enjoy being with your lovelies 💕

ReplyDeleteWe are all learning that's what new supplies and new ways to use them are for. I would write directly on each balloon . . . Love the ideas tho. Blessings, Janet
