A Mother is Born

My daughter is an amazing woman. She has always been career driven and is currently in an exciting position at the Department of Education for the State of Arizona. However, I have watched all that change since Lauren was born in April. My daughter was born to be a mom. I enjoy watching as she nurtures, plays with and loves this little being.

One of my most prized posessions is  a necklace Jennifer bought for me when she was in middle school. It is a gold filigree heart that reads mommy. She saw it in Kmart in August and told my husband he had to get it for me for Christmas. So he did. I wore that every day since until April 1st when Lauren was born. Then I gifted it to my daughter who now proudly wears it. I knew she would be a wonderful mom but the bond she and her daughter have is truly special. I hope it will always be like the one my daughter and I have.

Of course, Lauren loves to play with the necklace too!

I used this sketch from SketchnScrap

Here is my layout

(The baby's face is blurred per her mother's wishes not to have her photo posted on line. Thank you for understanding)

SimpleStories Romance was the perfect collection for this!

Adding this to Simonsays Wednesday It must Be Love challenge. This is the ultimate love!

Thank you for letting me share and for visiting. I look forward to seeing you again!
