Me & My Shadow

Have you been to the Canvas Corp Shop lately? You need to run over there and check out the Compose Your life Collection. It is my new fave!!! Such a versatile collection!

It lends itself well to many types of creating!

Last time I was in Phoenix I took this fun photo of my granddaughter. I knew I would want to scrap it so I went to town and created a layout using one of my favorite techniques. I used texture paste and a stencil to replicate the cement wall. The layout has other mixed media techniques including misting and  stamping. I fussy cut the leaves and flowers which are misted and I even doodled on them. The chipboard birds are painted with the new Color Wash Paint. I will list my supplies at the end. The smaller green leaves are actually 7Gypsies washi tape that I taped together and die cut after misting.

(My printer was acting up and I got the yellow/orange print. I decided I like it so used it.)

My daughter has asked that I not post photos of the baby on line so I covered her with text paper cutouts. Thank you for your understanding.
