Well, it is Friday and I am back with another check in for PaintPartyFriday.
We are home from being out west and once I finished getting my art/scrap/creative room put back together, I able to sit down and paint. I needed a couple of thank you notes so I got out the watercolors. I have seen an example of a card where they cut the painting into strips so tried that with the blue flwoers.
And, this cactus was painted just using lines.
I had fun with both of them.
This week I also was able to complete a scrapbook layout of our Covid 19 porch photo. A photographer was offering free photos of families on their porch so we asked him to take one of us.
I hope everyone enjoys a safe and healthy Memorial Day weekend. This year is just flying by!
Be sure to stop over at PaintPartyFriday for amazing inspiration!
Thank you for visiting!
Lovely idea to take photos of families on their porches. Your scrap page is fantastic. And I always need to look what day it is - ha, I thought I was the only one! Happy PPF, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work, I keep thinking it is the weekend have been thinking that all week. Now it really is!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun journaling page! But you are too close each others at Covid-time LOL!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful paintings.
Have a happy and healthy weekend ahead xx
Love the idea of a porch page. And your artwork made it really special. I don't know what day it is until I get on the computer since we weren't going anywhere. Now that we are loosening up a bit and have appointments, it will be dicey. Happy PPF
ReplyDeleteSuch sweet cards you made, and I love the photo.
ReplyDeleteLove it all! I hear you about the day of the week. If Trevor weren't doing school via distance learning (with different classes meeting on different days), I wouldn't have a clue what day it is.
ReplyDeleteLovely porch art. I'm always forgetting what day it is even though I've checked first thing.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful watercolor cards- love the leaves especially Jean! Wonderful scrapbook page with the very appropriate photo memory too. Happy PPF
ReplyDeletePS- I forget what day of the week it is all the time lately;)
I hear you regarding what day of the week it is, my Mom calls me most days asking the very same. Beautiful thank you cards I really do love the cactus but the journal page displaying your family porch photo surely is my fav. Happy PPF Tracey.

ReplyDeleteHappy PPF, Elke
I really like the family photo piece. That is a great idea. Your cards are lovely and the people receiving them will be very happy.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card and love your scrapbook page.
ReplyDeletemy favorite piece is the first flower. I like it a lot.
ReplyDeleteRemembering what day it is became a problem when I retired. Nowadays I have to rely to what program is on what channel :) And if the library is open or not. I went to my daughter this Thursday without having a clue if was a holiday. :) :)
