Welcome to Friday

Please tell me I am not the only one who doesn't know what day of the week it is?!? I have to look at my phone every day for confirmation:)

Well, it is Friday and I am back with another check in for PaintPartyFriday.

We are home from being out west and once I finished getting my art/scrap/creative room put back together, I able to sit down and paint. I needed a couple of thank you notes so I got out the watercolors. I have seen an example of a card where they cut the painting into strips so tried that with the blue flwoers.

And, this cactus was painted just using lines.

I had fun with both of them.

This week I also was able to complete a scrapbook layout of our Covid 19 porch photo. A photographer was offering free photos of families on their porch so we asked him to take one of us.

I used older papers that I had and added extra paint splatters and more. This was a fun one to create.

I hope everyone enjoys a safe and healthy Memorial Day weekend. This year is just flying by!

Be sure to stop over at PaintPartyFriday for amazing inspiration!

Thank you for visiting!

  4. Love the idea of a porch page. And your artwork made it really special. I don't know what day it is until I get on the computer since we weren't going anywhere. Now that we are loosening up a bit and have appointments, it will be dicey. Happy PPF

  6. Love it all! I hear you about the day of the week. If Trevor weren't doing school via distance learning (with different classes meeting on different days), I wouldn't have a clue what day it is.

  15. my favorite piece is the first flower. I like it a lot.
Remembering what day it is became a problem when I retired. Nowadays I have to rely to what program is on what channel :) And if the library is open or not. I went to my daughter this Thursday without having a clue if was a holiday. :) :)
