After the Rain

So my husband decided that this was a good week to get a truck full of mulch and work on the landscape beds. We had been hauling and spreading for several days now. Last night we were interrupted by a lovely thunderstorm and after which was this

There was even a double one.

I never tire of looking at rainbows.

When I wasn't mulching, I was working with my paints. I am just not a natural and have to work and experiment and play.

This is an old canvas that I painted over. I used a baby wipe and acrylics to make the circle shapes. It is large 18 x 24. I think I may be painting over it again:)

I bought a different brand of watercolor cards and was playing with those. Not so much a fan but I figured out a way to make them work. This purple card is headed in the right direction.

Still working with the blue one too.

We are supposed to have another show/sale in August so I need to build up my supply of cards. I am still not sure if I will participate. It will depend on how the virus is acting at that point.

I wish everyone a fun and relaxing weekend!

Thank you so much for your visit and kind words. Adding this to PaintPartyFriday!
