TGIF

We are in Michigan where it is day two of steady rain. We may need to start building an ark! I just hope this doesn't wash out the new landscaping we had completed last week:)

This week, I have a few small paintings to share. The first is an abstract. I used to love drawing intersecting squares and rectangles.

This is just a fun rainbow cat.

And I saw a fun little street painting which I tried to replicate

It was not on good quality paper, but I like the way it came out. I plan to try again.

My Apologies

I would like to apologize if you are receiving multiple emails from me. I had to find a new way to send them. After many starts and stops, I do think I have figured it out!

I thank you for your patience through this!

It has been a busy week. The landscaping in front of the house was completed. We had old plants removed and new gardens put in. Looks great so far.

We also hosted two caddies from the LPGA even in town this week. I have spent 4 days walking around the golf course. We always enjoy hosting players and caddies. We got to see some great golf.

We did have to run from a wicked rain cloud yesterday. I think it is going to hold off for today.

Again, thank you for following me and for your patience. I hope I have figured out the subscriber email situation now.

Have a wonderful week.

A Busy Week

It has been a busy week. We had new landscaping done at our house and they finally finished. I took a watercolor painting class. And, we are hosting two caddies who are in town for the LPGA event this week. It is always fun to visit with them and watch the ladies golf.

I did have time to complete a scrapbook layout. My granddaughter loves taking classes even if they have to be via zoom.

I used this sketch from StickitDown

The art show last weekend was very successful for our art group. I had a good show as well selling probably half of my cards. On Tuesday I participated in a watercolor class at a local gallery. The theme was vases and violets.

Here is my inspiration and my finished piece.

It is not yet finished but it is a good start.

I am adding this to PaintpartyFriday. Please stop by there and visit all of the artists. So many talented works to look at!

As many bloggers, I have been working on changing how my blog posts are sent out. If you are not already, please subscribe using one of the subscribe buttons at the top. IF you have any questions or are getting too many emails from me, please contact me using the contact button.

Follow me and I will follow you

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Next month there will be a change in the service that notifies subscribers via email when I publish a post. I am going to use Bloglovin. If you already follow me on Bloglovin, then you do not need to do anything. If not, and you want to continue to follow me, you will see and gadget where you need to enter your email address. This will take you to my Bloglovin page, where you will see a Blue Outlined Follow button. Click on that and you will be all set. Fingers crossed this works:)

Happy Friday!

It is going to be a busy weekend with me spending all day tomorrow selling my watercolor cards and art at the local Start of Summer Celebration. Our local art group will be setting up 5 tents and joining the fun.

Here are a couple that i have ready to go. In all, I have over 50 cards.

I also have about 10  9 x 12 or so paintings.

This is an annual event and with temps close to 90, town should be packed. Wish me luck:)

Thank you for visiting and for your kind words! Adding this to PaintpartyFriday! Please stop there and visit the wonderful artists.

Blogger is no longer going to be supporting blog posts, so I am working on a new way to do this. Please bear with me as I navigate this change.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Keeping busy

Summer is flying by but i carved out time for a bit of scrapping!

I loved this photo of my granddaughter gazing lovingly at a Boa Python.

And, of course, at St. Patrick's Day we had to try and catch the leprechaun. Sorry for the poor quality photos. Looks like I need a new printer.

Both of these layouts were inspired by this month's sketch from Creative Scrapbooker. You can find it on facebook - https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=4715094121839314&set=g.2164958267106146

I am also busy getting ready for the art sale on Saturday. I have lots of cards and other original pieces. The weather is going to be hot and humid but hopefully, there will be a lot of people celebrating the Start of Summer in our town.

Thank you for stopping by and for your kind words. I am still looking into options for sending emails. Blogger will no longer be supporting this.

Time for Scrapping
