We here at If It's Groovy plan to show you projects over the next four days that make us think of Summer. We hope you enjoy your time and be sure to come back and visit each day as there may be new surprises along the way! We would love to have you follow our blogs and get to know us as well as give us a chance to know you :)

Today we are headed to the Beach House. We need a sign to tell everyone where it is.

I stopped at the Dollar Tree and invested in this sign - yes it was $1.00. I knew all it needed was a little TLC.

Grab those paints, rub ons, and ribbon  and get to work.
Before you know it this is what your sign will look like --

I painted  the lettering and flowers. Added some rubons and then edged the entire sign with yellow paint. I think it is so cute and will look perfect at our cottage!

Thank you for stopping by! I would love  for you to become a follower and leave a comment.  We have lots more fun projects planned for you for the rest of the week! I look forward to seeing you again.

Now hop off to

  1. What a great sign . . . and only a buck! How can you pass that up? It looks great!

  2. Oh Penney this is such a cheerful sign! You did a great job.

  3. CUTE!!! The yellow was the icing on the cake.

  4. What a deal you found! And you dressed it up so cute!

  5. That sign is adorable! Love it! tfs

  6. This turned out fantastic and it only costs a $1.00 plus a few goodies you already had, now that is my kind of scrapping! Great job! Love Penny

  7. This is perfect! I too, have this sign and had not decided quite what to do. Now I know exactly what colors and embellies i want to use. LOL! Thanks for the inspiration and enjoy many days at your cottage for all of us too.
